Dr Christodoulos Laspos

received his DDS in 1995 from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens in Greece and his MDSc in 1999 from the College of Dentistry University of Tennessee Health Science Center in Memphis in the US. He specialised in treating individuals with craniofacial malformations through a craniofacial fellowship in 2000 at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas in the US and has been certified by the European Board of Orthodontics. He is a doctoral candidate at the dental school of the University of Bern in Switzerland. Since 2000, Dr Laspos has practised in his private orthodontic practice in Limassol in Cyprus. He is the founder and director of MEDICLEFT, the Cyprus Center for Clefts and Facial Deformities, and of the Chrysallida Foundation, the Cyprus Association of Individuals with Clefts and Other Craniofacial Anomalies, and the director of the Synergy Foundation, which provides continuing education courses for dental professionals. He is a scientific collaborator at the dental school of the European University Cyprus.
Dr Laspos lectures internationally on craniofacial malformations, orthognathic surgery, a multidisciplinary approach to care and new technologies in orthodontics. He is an active member of the Angle Society of Europe and the president of the European Orthodontic Society.
